I never thought it would take off as it has. Really. I am touched by all the pins on Pinterest. It blows my mind in a really good way. Thanks.
So you might notice that it's been awhile since I've posted. I have two really good reasons for that.
This Lil' Cacahuate entered our world on Christmas Day, a whole 10 lbs, 4 ounces, and born in my tub at home at 8:30 in the morning, accomapnied by my husband and
midwife. She is my third VBAC and second largest baby. (Anna was 11lbs even) Then as I was getting used to life with a newborn, I cut my hand with a rotary cutter, used in sewing. As if life wasn't slow enough.
The day of "the cut"
Surgery. I admit it. I swing faaaaaaar as natural comes (see home birth mentioned above)
I looked like this for a long time. Stinking blade went through a tendon. Can't really go natural for that, although I considered just letting it go.
Life. It is what it is and you just have to make the best of it.
So now I'm down to this: that's me sporting some henna bling from a Blessingway.
Yes. I have been a decent patient and the doc --hand specialist--said I was a good candidate to do this. It's my splint cut down at 6 weeks to allow wrist movement. My jaw dropped when he said I was doing what I was supposed to.
(Plus using homeopathy, Castor oil, Vitamin E and essential oils)
I thought I was all Miss Defy Western Medicine and he's calling me a good candidate. I'll take it. Shoot, if I'm paying out of pocket and if I mess it up I paying for it with lack of fingertip use for the rest of my life, it's all on me. I had BETTER behave.
All of this has been typed with one hand on my phone. I must be healing. See you on the other side with some more recipes!!
